Dell Optiplex 990 Bios A054/17/2021
They are all the same configuration and they are all the same OEM image from dell.I then go into the network interface and under power management I check the box Wake on Magic Packet and Wake on Pattern Match These are Intel 82579LM Gig Adapters on the board. In digging into the ones that dont work I found out that if I run from cmd elevated powercfg -devicequery wakearmed The ones that do work have the Intel(R) 82579LM Gigabit Network Connection Listed, but the ones that dont, dont have it listed. So i tried powercfg -deviceenablewake Intel(R) 82579LM Gigabit Network Connection which adds just fine, but on a reboot its not there.
Dell Optiplex 990 Bios A05 Driver There IsntAlso with the intel driver there isnt a check box to allow this device to wake the pc option. Any help would be great, Dells tech support blows so their no help. Dell Optiplex 990 Bios A05 Upgrade To ThatThe most recent version BIOS for the Optiplex 990, A06, was just released last month: Note, if the BIOS isnt currently version A05, upgrade to that before upgrading to A06. Unfortunately, when I now run my project to engage with this system using the Intel SDK components for an IDE-R session, the following exception is returned: Intel.Manageability.Exceptions.CimException: Logic error: Received an unknown class - IPSBootConfigSetting... ![]() Has this function been superceded If so, how could I best implement it Help would be very much appreciated, Thanks, Alex. This feature adds some objects to the firmware that the SDK sample does not recognize (the object of type IPSBootConfigSetting is an example). I will try find out if there is a workaround that you can use to deal with your problem.
